Day two back at work after my little vacation, and I am wiped. Again. Going to hang up my laundry and go to bed.

Nope, although I hear good things. It's on my ever-increasing List Of Books I Will Get Around To Reading Eventually.

Can't speak for the books, but the show is terrible. Might be interesting if they actually followed the main characters, but the side plots are ridiculous. Also, it has no sense of pacing whatsoever.
