moonandtree have netted the most accessible part of the garden, but we've run out of netting. I guess that'll just go on the ever-increasing list of Things To Get. Yeesh. Still no sign of my tax refund. *sigh*

I'm hoping the marmots will vacate once their food source is gone. One of the neighbours generously pointed out to us today that we really ought to get rid of the marmot because it ate all his lettuce too. Gee, thanks buddy.

I'm less and less inclined to go to work this week, and next week is night shift, which guarantees I won't want to go. Bleh.

All right. Time to get cracking.

Er. Perhaps some one should point out that said marmot is free-ranging, and you don't have dibs on him. It's not like he's a pet. Tell him to net his own vegetables.

I am so sorry about your lettuce. This is why I gave up on growing my own vegetables. Too damn depressing after the investment of money, labor, and love.
