The damned marmot has eaten ALL of my lettuce. The marmot also appears to have three offspring, who are doubtless not guiltless in the disappearance of my lettuce.

There will be inhumane relocation procedures as soon as I can figure out how to do it. Tomorrow moonandtree and I will be netting the rest of the garden.

Did I mention that ALL THE LETTUCE IS GONE?

I dunno. I certainly can think of at least one person involved in this thread who uses them for exactly that, but I'm thinking you'd want to get a prety hot one, maybe even a .22-cal, for groundhogs based on his advice [caveat caveat disclaimer disclaimer].
