And another one bites the dust.
We have yet another employee gone on long-term sick leave, for an "indeterminate" length of time. I believe the word "indefinite" may have been used, as well.
So that's another 40 hours a week we need to fill in.
I am about to kiss my life goodbye. The few weekends I had free in December are now toast (it's just a matter of time before it'll be official), and it looks as though I'm going to be cancelling about 90% of my social activities for the next four months or so.
On the plus side, I'll be making a lot of money in the next little while. I won't see any of it until January, but that's not the end of the world.

Date: 2008-12-05 02:40 pm (UTC)...Although seriously, Phnee, once you work through your temporary money issues, if you don't have a crock pot already, it would be an excellent investment. It will save you so much time cooking, even doing stuff in big batches, if you can just throw crap in a pot before you leave and come home to dinner for the next week. There are tons of great simple recipes out there for all kinds of stuff.
