Shocking, I know. ^_-
Not sure if I'm hypomanic or just okay. Thinking that I'm hypomanic, since I haven't been able to focus on anything for more than half an hour at a time, and even that is taking great expenditures of willpower.
I am, however, not feeling down, not feeling suicidal (always a good thing), and am generally optimistic in my outlook on life. This is good. I've also begun making projects, building Castles in Spain and so forth, which is probably another good indicator that I'm hypomanic.
Have been wandering about all day. Went to see my mother. Spent mid-morning to mid-afternoon with her. Came back here, tried to work. Had the same success as a five-year-old with ADD on a sugar high with no Ritalin to hand. Scattered, distracted, with feelings of boredom mixed in with the really strong urge to DO something, anything, but couldn't settle on one thing to do. Ended up doing not much. Trying to work on translating this paper. Interesting topic, but I can't focus on it for more than fifteen-minute intervals now.
I got my egg timer out, hoping it would help, but it ticks really loudly and the cats think it's a toy. More distractions.
