Why do I feel simultaneously super busy and like I'm getting nothing done? *sigh*

Anyway, I did get some stuff done today aside from my regular work day, although not as much as I hoped I would. I will try to do better tomorrow. I'll put what I did get done behind the cut, with some minor alterations to the list, for my own edification.

Two hours into my night shift, and I am Le Tired. Of course, getting up at 06:30 this morning, running errands, helping a friend to move, and going to the gym before work has nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.

I did get in a three-hour nap this afternoon, so I'm not especially sleepy. Just tired.

I have sworn to myself that I am going to get some writing done tonight. So that's next on the list. I forgot my knitting at home, but given that I have lots of other work to do tonight, I think I can be forgiven.

I met up with an old school friend at the gym, entirely by chance. I hadn't seen him in about eight years. Uh, oops? Anyway, he's looking as good as he ever did (he was always a good-looking rogue, with lots of girls fawning all over him), and is taking voice lessons in order to sing opera. I may have to introduce him to moonandtree. We exchanged phone numbers, and then I had to sprint to work, but I hope I'll be able to snag him for coffee or something soonish. It was nice seeing him again.
