mousmeI'm still here. Haven't so much as switched on the computer since Wednesday. I'm at work, not surprisingly, and have been since 6am. I foresee another 14-hour day ahead of me. What the hey, I've already been here twelve hours, what's two more?

Anyway, thank you very much for all your very nice responses to my last post bitching about my bank. I went to my local branch in person Thursday evening after work and spent 45 minutes straightening everything out with my friendly local teller. Everything is settled, and my money is now my own once more.
Every time I think I can see the light at the end of the tunnel in this job, more work seems to get dumped on me. So even though I'm feeling slightly optimistic about things right now I'm not going to say anything out loud, because that just jinxes the whole affair.
I'm going to use my Cthulhu Mop icon, just 'cause I can.
If anything really important has happened since Wednesday, please comment or email and let me know. I am swamped and I'm never going to be able to catch up on LJ. I'm sorry for everyone I'm neglecting, but right now I barely have time to eat and sleep, let alone get on the computer. Eventually I may tunnel my way out of this mountain of work, but it's unlikely to be anytime soon.
