Okay, so I'm awake. Sue me, my head hurts.

I just found out that A. A. Milne's wife's first name was Daphne. For some reason, that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I am absurdly pleased.

So here's a random question for the flist: which Winnie-the-Pooh character are you most like and why? (This question inspired by [livejournal.com profile] borrowedwings' potential new employer)

So, are you going to answer your own poll? Which Milne character are you most like?

Hmm. Somewhere between Winnie and Rabbit, I think. Possibly a dash of Piglet. :)

That's interesting. You'd think that a percussionist would have more Tigger in her. Yeah, I can see Rabbit in your personality. I think I can see Pooh, as well. I have to confess to a streak of Rabbit myself. I can be an irrascible asshole when I want to be and I'm motivated. Heh heh.

I was tempted to say Tigger, because I *do* get bouncy and all sorts of excited about stuff, but my enthusiasms tend to be focussed and goal-driven. I resemble Rabbit a lot more in that when I *do* get enthusiastic about something I pursue it with a hell of a lot of determination and accidentally ignore people who get in my way. I'm also very fond of having Plans to do stuff.

I know. I've seen that in what you write. That's admirably Rabbit. Heh heh, I wish I had more of Rabbit's drive and discipline and less of his irrascibility and propensity to jump to conclusions.

Heh. You and me both. :D

I used to think Rabbit was misunderstood when I was little, and that things would turn out much better if people only followed his instructions properly. ;)
