That's not a maple leaf. It's a communist pin from Cuba, IIRC. Also, that is in fact a real Russian Red army issue commie hat. It belongs to my mother. :)
Oh, my mistake! You have one too then! You know, with all of the Soviet memorabilia available today, it reminds me of that old Jackson Browne song: "Lawyers in Love" heh heh!
