So I ran around like a headless chicken to get my application all put together. I got all the documents I needed, addressed the envelope, put stamps on it, signed my cover letter, sealed the whole thing, and then realized there wasn't a mailbox around.

"No problem," think I. "There's a mailbox not too far from home. When I get back from my dance class, I'll mail it then."

...

Hah. Hah! I say now to that. Famous last words.


When I got back from my dance class, I realised I'd forgotten the envelope in the "safe place" where I'd put it at the club so it wouldn't get misplaced or damaged.

*sigh*

I'm going there tonight, and it will be going directly in the mail then.

Did I mention blisteringly stupid? There are times when I amaze even myself.

Yeah, I'm not worried. Just really pissed off at myself for doing something so very, very dumb.

I'd be more upset if I'd lost the envelope. However, I'm 99% sure I know where it is.

Meh.

I just looked at my calendar for the next two weeks or so, and realized I don't have a single free day available until February apart from the two days this weekend that I have purposefully set aside for Other Things. How sad is that?

I'd like the people of this school to work on scheduling. Last period I had two classes doing research on a religions project, the senior school student council meeting, three kids from a senior art class doing work, and another class wanted to come in and use the room because they'd been ousted by a visiting school.

I sent them to one of the classes vacated by the moral ed groups. Yeesh.
