Did not drink, luckily, as ended up the default designated driver (no one else was sober enough to qualify). Went to bed very late. Well, not all that late if I'd been able to sleep in, but had to get up at 5am to get into Montreal for work. Four hours of incredibly broken sleep is not enough to function, let me tell you. Yes, broken sleep. Then again, I probably slept more than the other people whom I won't name who are directly responsible for the broken state of my slumber. All I can say is: yikes, loud. At least they had a good time.
So now am doing the zombie thing at work. Thus far, no one has noticed, probably because I'm wired beyond belief on caffeine. Asked to go home half an hour early, as I got here half an hour early, and I have a feeling no one will mind.
Maybe a better update later.

Date: 2005-08-11 01:32 pm (UTC)I lived in Bainsville, which is worth a drive-through sometime. Back when I lived there, before it was a boom town, there were 17 houses, not all of them occupied. Population: 25. I spent all my time up in the bush with my dog, walking along the train tracks and daydreaming. It was damn near perfect.

You're too awesome not to meet at least once in this lifetime.
Deal.
