mousmeI found some of these while I was cleaning up. God, I used to be cute. What the Hell happened?
This is my father and I when I was —I think— about five months or so. My mother absolutely wanted some professional photos done, and this was one of the "discards." The photographer gave me a bit off masking tape rolled in a ball to play with so I wouldn't get grumpy, and apparently I found it more fascinating than the rest of the proceedings.
Isn't my father handsome? :)
Me sitting with my doggie, Joseph, on the balcony of the first houe I remember (and the second of three that we lived in during my lifetime). She was a Belgian Shepherd, for those of you who want to know. :)
The dress is typical of the stuff my mother used to dress me in as a child.
This is how my father and I typically spent Saturday mornings for a very long time. This is in the library of our third house (yes, we had a library), and my father is reading from a bande déssinée called Alix. Never mind that I was able to read from the age of about two and a half or three, he still read out loud to me until I turned ten or so.
Prince Edward Island, where we went every summer for eleven years. The red sand came out kind of so-so in this picture, but it's still fun anyway. Unfortunately you can't really see my mother's face all that well.
This is my dog taking me for a walk on my first ever day of school. Didn't believe me when I told you I was a Catholic schoolgirl? Well, there's your proof. ;)
