Ugh. Don't like religion in the ceremony? Get a friend ordained as Universal Life. Or get a justice of the peace. Don't ask a minister to conduct a ceremony that's just on for show.
This is something you can see everywhere, in all faiths though I think that he is correct in how we seem to package it up with our hardware in this (the USA I am thinking he is from? If not he could be) country. I read that and at first thought I would roll my eyes at him railing against using the building in such a way (I adore old church buildings and my dream is to live in one one day), but as I read his message I choked on my own breath and my heart heart. That is how deeply it touched me. Please, may I never become that apathetic.
