Friday afternoon ramble

Today was busy, for a change. /sarcasm
Yeah, so, apart from cranky clients, things went well. No deactivations, lots of sales, and I finally am getting transferred back to my team on Monday. It's about bloody time, I might add. :P
Anyway, yeah. I'm hoping that things'll get better after this. With a minimal amount of effort I think I can perform quite well (which means a higher bonus at the end of the year: yee!), and then maybe switch departments.
Found out something useful about another department which means I most certainly will NOT be requesting a transfer there: they stay open until midnight during the week because they keep the same hours as the Bell Worlds which are open until 9, including British Columbia. Given that I'd be lowest on the totem pole in terms of choosing hours, that means that I will not apply for that department while still possessed of my wits.
Aaaaaaaugh! They killed Robb! Bastards! Poor Grey Wind! :(
I'm going to go home and die tonight. I'm really, really tired, thanks to that little bout of insomnia I got last weekend and at the beginning of this week. It's not as bad now, but I'm still not sleeping enough hours nor soundly enough. Bleah.
At least I've still got a bit of A Storm Of Swords left to read. I'm going to go insane waiting for the other four books to come out, I just know it. :P Then again, the rumours that J. K. Rowling is burnt out due to the pressures of writing Book V and the possibility that Martin will keel over of a heart attack are doing nothing for my inner fangirliness. Poop.
I got IRC working last night, and feel oddly accomplished, since I'm pretty useless with computer stuff. :) I also discovered that the word "poop" has the same effect on
forthright that the word "tits" has on
shenlo, namely that it makes him giggle a lot. Men are so silly. :)
All in all, I'm actually in a pretty good mood, surprisingly enough. Maybe it's because it's ten past six and there doesn't seem to be a rush of clients anymore.
Oh, and if you're curious, I ended up going with the egg rolls yesterday, but no rice. :)
