Yeah, so I got to go home early. Apparently I was supposed to leave even earlier except NO ONE BOTHERED TO TELL ME!

Typical.

Still, three hours' less work is nothing to sneeze at. Am now a happy camper.

Feeling kinda icky, due to the fact that I seem to have forgotten my meds two days in a row (took them today, though) and thus am doing the nauseau/vertigo/general ickiness that comes from discontinuing Paxil too quickly.

TMI follows. :)

In a new twist, my tongue feels nasty too, as though I'd burned it yesterday and now it's healing over. Never mind that I didn't burn it. I'm going to brush my teeth again and see if that helps any.

Am not sure what to do now. I could continue futzing on the computer (friends aren't updating much since noon, it would seem, so no lurking in friends page), to make entries or continue on the Memory Filing Project That Has No End™. Alternately I could go offline and work on my knitting or read more of the Fantasy Crack Cocaine that curtana and forthright introduced me to the other day.

Oh, curtana? Is Chapters open tomorrow? I have a book on order there which I think has come in. :)

So many possibilites, such lack of decisiveness... ;)

Well, I vaguely assist firewillow in running aparecium_rpg, an LJ-based Harry Potter roleplaying community.

I also RP in another HP community called reparo, which probably still has room in it.

For either of those you need to send in an application for the character you want to play (canon characters are preferred, but Aparecium does take well-thought-out original characters).

Otherwise I just got involved with a StarGate Play By eMail (or PBeM for short). For details on how to apply/get accepted there, go here: http://www.evilfordummies.com/bluebook/index.shtml

They're currently accepting applications, and extensive knowledge of the SG universe is not necessary (although it's a good idea to have some idea of what's going on there).

Also helps if you suck up to the bio-mistress... I accept the usual array of expensive gifts (although its silver, not gold for jewellery), flowers and chocolates ;)
