A list of things I'd like to do in the near and distant future:



In no particular order:

1- Learn to play the guitar
2- Learn Tai Chi
3- Pick up badminton again
4- Go bowling again (yes, I suck at it, but it's still fun)
5- Play paintbal more often
6- Learn to play the piano
7- Learn to draw
8- Backpack through Europe
9- Write a novel
10- Get a house
11- Fill my aparmtent with plants (and remember to water and feed them!)
12- Have an aviary
13- Get a dog (or several)
14- Learn carpentry
15- Become well-versed in gemology (is that even a word?)
16- Learn to make jewelry
18- Learn to crochet
19- Learn to sew properly
20- Run my own B&B (yes, it's one of my fantasies: sue me)
21- Find someone to spend the rest of my life with
22- Meet all the people on my friends list
23- Learn musical theory
24- Learn to sculpt
25- Become a really good cook
26- Learn to make scrumptious desserts
27- Make a living at something I enjoy
28- Learn to write in shorthand
29- Learn Spanish
30- Learn Russian
31- Learn calligraphy
32- Learn to dance
33- Open a bookstore (yes, another pet dream of mine)

'Gemology' is definitely a word - my former apprentice sister, Dame Gwendolyn Rosamund, is actually a gemologist by profession - she works for auction houses and such. I always thought that was a really cool job. :)

i found calligraphy pretty easy to learn. so there's hope for everybody. :)
