I really am tired, though.

First off, thanks to everyone who responded yesterday. It means a lot, and I lurve you all. :) *smooches*

My brain has decided to go on a funky roller-coaster ride of chemical imbalances and distorted cognitive processes of late, it would seem. Joy.

This entrty is going to be really disjointed, as I'm finding it hard to remain focussed even for five minutes at a time today (wreaked havoc with my work today too).

On the plus side, I'm getting in some good RP on my new Stargate PBeM. At least, it's fun so far, even if some of the players don't seem to write any known language (and there's a cutoff age of 17!!), and there's a very high munchkin-to-regular-character ratio. As it is, I'm having a hard time keeping my poor character "normal." He's military, and intelligent, but not brilliant, and certainly mostly average as far as I'm concerned. He's just coming off as better than I intended. Yurgh.

Oh well, hopefully I'll be able to sort him out soon.

God. What was I saying? *re-reads* Oh, right. Well, I don't have anything else to say on that topic anyway.

Well, remember that those assigned to the stargate program are supposed to be the best of the best that the world has to offer - in the show, Dr. Jackson speaks 26 different languages, Captain Carter is a Wesley Crusher-level astrophysics genius, that kind of thing... a little bit of munchkining is entirely within the spirit of the source material. :)
