mousmeI got so into the Mage game that I *completely* missed all the warning signs of an oncoming migraine, which proceeded to hit me like a ton of bricks just as I stepped out of my car. I practically fell over, feeling like someone had just plunged a white–hot dagger through the back of my head.
Have overdosed on Tylenol and a sleeping pill and am going to go pass out soon. Wanted to update first, though, masochist that I am. Work went as work usually does, except that I spent the last hour of my shift in a meeting with my supervisor who told me that my work was sub-par but that I was a great team player with really good results and they were glad to have me on board, but if I didn't shape up soon things might get unpleasant (i.e. they'll fire me).

Anyway, I smiled and gritted my teeth and nodded and agreed that I would be a good little corporate drone in exchange for my paycheque, and we let it go at that.
Mage rocked all known forms of gaming. I pushed buttons left right and centre and almost unleashed Nameless Horrors on the unsuspecting Welsh countryside, as did Firewillow. It was incredibly fun.
Tomorrow I get to go and make a cloak with Joane, as well as have breakfast with the Paternal Unit, and I have to buy cat litter as well. The latter may have to wait until Monday, though, when I actually have time to do it.

Date: 2003-03-02 11:42 am (UTC)basically, the told him that he was good, and then picked some random thing to say that he was horrible at. He called them on it, and said that if he was treally so bad, why didn't they just let him go? It turned out that they did that to almost everyone (this was soon after the store had initially opened, so everyone was new, pretty much), and it was their policy, so that they could keep people on but justify not giving them raises. Arr. It might be a similar kind of thing at bHell, but I dunno. They do seem pretty cunty all around :/
As for Mage... what did the Welsh ever do to you? ^-^ I like the Welsh... and their countryside :o
