mousmeThe scheduling department is offering the next three days off without pay here to anyone who wants them. I for one would be more than happy to take them up on one of those days.
The catch? They want people who work between 8:00am and 9pm. Guess what time I finish at? That's right: 9:15. So even though I've volunteered, I'm going to get an email saying "Sorry, you finish 15 minutes too late. You're not allowed to take the day off."
I am going to go drown my sorrows in a diet coke. I wish I could have a papaya bubble tea right now...
*goes off to mope in a corner*
Oh, and I just had a thirty-minute conversation with a psycho who wouldn't let me hang up! Kept going on about her heart condition and her backaches and her broken toe and how she was sequestered in France a few years ago for being a Jew.
