Me: *sleeps*

George: "MUMMY! GOOD MORNING! I LOVE YOU LOTS!" *leaps onto my spleen*

Me: *oof!* "George, get off!" *turns over and goes back to sleep*

George: "MUMMY! IT'S MORNING! YOU SHOULD PAT ME!" *headbutts me*

Me: *grumble* "Go 'way."

George: "I LOVE YOU, MUMMY! WAKE UP!" *headbutts me in the face*

Me: "Go 'way."

George: "I LOVE YOU LOTS AND LOTS! LET ME SHOW YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!" *sticks his wet nose in my ear*

Me: "For the love of..." *tosses cat onto the floor*

George: "MUMMY! YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO MEEEEEE!" *leaps up onto night table and rubs against lamp*

Me: *knocks cat onto floor*

George: *jumps back onto bed* "MUUUUUMMMMMYYYYYY! I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU GET UP! GET UP GET UP GET UP!" *headbutts me in the face*

Me: *knocks cat onto floor*

George: *jumps back onto bed* "MUMMY! YOU'RE NO FUN AT ALL! GET UUUUUUUP!" *licks indiscriminately at my face*

Me: "FINE! God, I'm up. I'm UP! Get off me!" *gets up*

George: "YAAAAAAAAAAAY!"

Me: *gets up*

George: *curls up on sofa upstairs and goes to sleep*

Me: ...

I am amusing myself by poking George awake every ten minutes or so. He is a grumpy cat now.

Hah.

"I was hiding under your porch because I love you..."

After a day of running errands, I treated myself to Up!. As usual, Pixar did not disappoint. It treated a difficult subject with delicacy and whimsy and a great deal of respect. I cried a lot (S.O.P. with me and Pixar films), and laughed even more. It was lovely, and in spite of my misgivings, much like the ones I had before going to see WALL*E, I was absolutely charmed.

I loved the dog. I loved all the characters, really, but the dog especially. "My name is Doug! I have just met you and I love you! I was going to... SQUIRREL!" Awww. <3

Anyway, yes. Much love for the movie. Much, much love.
