Oh God, it's early
Jun. 8th, 2008 05:47 amMy one consolation in this mess is knowing that getting up early for work tomorrow shouldn't be a problem.
Jet lag + migraine = Unhappy Phnee
I have taken my migraine candy for the first time in... six months, I think. I hope it works quickly. I was worried about my new work environment triggering more migraines (long hours, enclosed space, brightly-lit monitors and lots of high-pitched bleeping), but so far so good. Turns out that liking my job does wonders for limiting the main trigger of my migraines, which is stress.
I can't figure out if this migraine is jet-lag induced (known to happen), due to a sudden shift in barometric pressure (Paris != Montreal), or due to something else entirely. Meh. I want it to Go Away.
Once that happens, I am going to get my day (and thus my week) underway. I have a ton of stuff to do, and no car, which means Planning Ahead will be a necessity. I also start work at ohmygod o'clock tomorrow morning, so no grace there. It all has to get done today.
