mousmeOkay, where did my day go?
Everything went by in a blur.
- Cleaning (the place *still* isn't tidy, dagnabbit!): vacuuming, dishes, cat pans, and a little bit of straightening up, though nothing to write home about
- Quaker Meeting for the first time in nearly a year
- I bought a tool kit (wrenches and pliers, yay!) at Canadian Tire
- Laundry (tried to hang it outside *just* as a thunderstorm started. Gnarr.)
- Went grocery shopping. Walked there and back.
- Made avgolemone soup (Greek lemon-flavoured soup with egg and rice) and transferred it to individual containers for the week.
- Made Luanna's Spaghetti Sauce and put it in a jar for the week.
- Boiled a bunch of baby potatoes and sautéed them in butter, shallots and paprika. Also put those in a container for the week.
- Made and ate a salad for dinner.
- Took a bath because I was hot and sticky
There will be no trip update tonight. Tomorrow I'm taking the cats to the vet for their follow-up shots (*sigh*), and after that I should be in a better position to post properly. The poor bunnies are feeling the heat even more than I am, and have been whining piteously at me, as though I can somehow magically make it less hot and humid out. They're very glad to have me home, though, and jump on me for cuddles a whole lot more than is their wont.
