So much to post about...

I haven't been posting much of substance here lately. The problem with having tons of stuff to post about is that I rarely have the time or energy to actually post any of it.

I've been off work for a week. I don't actually feel like anything has happened, although not working for a week has thoroughly mangled my sleeping patterns. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, for some major financial cataclysm to occur to stress me out completely.

The next big thing to write about is last night's Thursday game. I've been waiting for about five years to be in on one of the infamous Thursday games, and last night I finally got my chance. Sadly, I'm late for a lunch appointment with the Paternal Unit, and I won't be back at the computer until tomorrow, so it'll have to wait. Suffice it to say, for now, that the game rocked hardcore, especially getting some "real" phone calls from both karine and shenlo playing NPCs in the game. It was very awesome. Thanks guys! You really added to the tone of the game.

Okay, I'm amused

So I wrote a post that was a zillion pages long, and all the comments I got on it were responses to a throwaway line about pineapple on pizza.

My friends are awesome, if a little quirky.

The NaNoWriMo Kick-Off Party was a blast. Holy invasion of newbies, Batman! There were at least forty people when I got there, and twenty were faces I'd never seen before in my life. My throat is raw from trying to talk loud enough to make myself heard for three hours. Good times.
