Irony...

The U-Haul people near my current apartment (there used to be two not too far away) have picked up and moved away, leaving no forwarding address.

The new phone number they have listed is currently out of service.

I mean, yes, this is just dripping with irony, but did anyone else but me think: "Typical."

So I was talking to my cat, and in the course of my musings was saying something along the lines of "Yes, George, you may look all sleepy and innocent right now, but I'm quite sure that you sneak off when I'm not home and go rampaging all over downtown Tokyo in your spare time."

Then I wondered what was geekier, the fact that I'd said that out loud to my cat (let alone thought it), or that the next thought that crossed my mind was: "Heh. I should put that up on LJ."
