I didn't update yesterday

pdaughter left for school, and finally managed to sleep off the headache that still hadn't gone away after more than two days.
The rest of the day was all about packing, though I did catch up on a few TV shows I'd been wanting to watch. Drove to Ottawa, did my grocery shopping, and came home. The only down point of the day was accidentally hitting my head so hard on the trunk of my car (the hatch didn't open all the way due to the cold and I didn't notice as I was loading groceries) that the corner of the locking mechanism drew blood. You can't see it at all now, there's no bump and I am obviously not concussed, so it could have been worse, but it hurt like the dickens.
Off to work today. I have yet another appointment with the dentist. I don't dislike the dentist the way some people do, but it's not my favourite way to spend a couple of hours. At least it'll break up my day, I suppose. Better than nothing. I've been finding the day shifts kind of long, on the whole. There's a lot to do and not much by way of breaks, and since I don't get to talk to people anymore it all requires a fair bit of concentration without any hope of a change of pace. So the dentist gets to be the highlight of my workday. ;)
