Wow. I actually held myself to my own promise...

I got home yesterday after fighting off a migraine for most of the day, feeling seriously out of sorts. That was after the Overtime Fairy visited. So Overtime Fairy + Migraine Fairy = Seriously Cranky Phnee.

I took a bubble bath (YAY!), with the intention of doing some tidying afterward, since the cleaning lady is coming today. Yeah. That didn't happen. I felt marginally better but still overall crummy after my bath, so instead I went to bed and set my alarm early.

Now, normally this is where my well-paved road usually goes to hell. I am not good at getting up early, especially when I'm tired. Today, however, appears to have been an exception to the rule. I got up when my alarm rang (okay, I hit "snooze" for 15 minutes, but that was part of the plan), and have been tidying for the past little while. I also made breakfast and had coffee, which NEVER happens when I'm on day shift, because I'm usually not up on time to have breakfast at home (I keep breakfast in my locker at work for just such contingencies).

Now I just have to tidy the front entrance, change the litter in the cat pans, and make my bed. Oh, and get dressed. :P I have exactly fifty-five minutes for this, which means it's all going to get done. w00t!

Tonight is Hump Night at Hurley's. Must remember to bring MacGyver for sorceror.


I think one of the non-work things I will do today will be to come up with a comprehensive list of names for my co-workers, to which I can refer if I want. Maybe a list of other frequently-used non-LJ names as well. That way I won't have to try to remember who I've already named and so forth.

Okay. The cat pans aren't going to clean themselves. Off I go!

I ask purely in the spirit of one seeking information, at this point, with the potential for positive consequences should this work out in my mind, but, what time d'y'all meet at Hurley's and is this a private party or can anyone join in? I may be at loose ends from about 4pm onwards and I'll looking for inexpensive amusement.

There's no official meeting time, but generally people are there by about 18:00. I myself will be there closer to 17:00 today, perhaps even earlier depending on some timing. :)

I plan to be there likely 16:00ish barring any inconveniences.

Usually there's someone there around 18h at least...I typically get there around just before 17h most weeks (I say most because I've missed the last two)
