What a way to start the morning

There's nothing quite like being awoken by a phone call from your supervisor asking: "Uh, so where are you?"

I cracked open an eye around 05:30, rolled over, and the next thing I knew it was 10:15. Given that I start work at 10:00, this was not a good thing. I made it to work in 40 minutes, although I must look like something the cat dragged in.

Not a good way to start the day.

Here's hoping the rest of the day gets better.
