A Gretzky update

sultrysong requested a Gretzky update. :)

Gretzky is doing much, much better, you'll no doubt be pleased to hear. The antibiotics have all but cleared up her cold. I'm supposed to call the vet tomorrow to give her an update, and I'm likely going to have to take the kitty back for another shot, because she's still a bit congested and sneezy, which means she's not completely cured.

That being said, she's not longer spewing mucus everywhere every time she sneezes (ew), and her breath no longer wheezes and gurgles in her chest. She's started playing again, and is much more cheerful and even-tempered. She's also gone back to her, ahem, delightful habit of hissing at Smudge every time the poor boy so much as comes into the same room as her. She also hisses when she goes into a room where he is. Isn't she a delightful creature?

In short, she's old and crotchety, but no longer on death's door.
