Shave to Save

The icon isn't quite right, but I figured it was close enough.

My supervisor has asked me to participate in Shave to Save next month. I've tentatively agreed (although it sucks because BorderCrossing really likes my hair :P), and am trying to negociate something whereby the RCMP will match whatever money I manage to raise. The goal is $2,000, minimum, before Mix 96 will come to your workplace.

So, anyone interested in contributing, if I do this?

I will! I did the Shave to Save in 2007, and can tell you all about it if you like. It was quite the ride, and (I felt) well worth it. I'm still very proud of what I did, and think its a huge gesture on your part for even considering it.

One of our local radio stations does a fundraising campaign every year for breast cancer research. They issue a challenge: if you raise $2,000 or more they come to your workplace and shave your head.
