Well, half the day is gone. Only eight hours left. It's kind of quiet, which means I have no choice but to do this clerical stuff I don't really feel like doing.

Bah.

I kind of want it to be busy. Otherwise it's going to be a loooong evening shift. :P

If I am perfectly honest with myself, I would much rather be home right now, cooking or baking or putting together my bookcases. The only consolation is that all this overtime should pay for my move.

*continues doing clerical work*

Have you ever made taffy before? Maybe you, [livejournal.com profile] toughlovemuse and I should get together on a weekend afternoon soonish and do that. I bet it would be fun. :)

She and I did sort of refer to that generalish idea in a very allusive kinda way at the beginning of the caramel/taffy thread which is currently stretched (no pun intended) over three journals now. I can think of no better way to spend an afternoon than with two good friends, lots of sugar, and wine, because of course there must be wine.

Boo on clerical work. I sincerely hope I can find time soon to start making my own bread. Actually, I think I'm going to ask for a breadmaker for Christmas...

Have a good day, if you can!

I love my breadmaker with much love, but I still need a minimal amount of time to actually put the ingredients in it and turn it on. :P

I have this overwhelming urge to make cookies, but have no time. I also know that when I have time this week I will have no energy left. *moans and wails and gnashes teeth*

Breadmaker? Anathema! Honey, let me come down there and I'll show you how we can make bread nice and easy the authentic way.
