Moncton is made of Ass. And you might confuse the ocals with your ability to speak actual Frenh rather than Shiac.
The rest of NB is pretty awesome. Moncton is all call centers and box stores -_-
However if you have any free time, you coud see about driving out to Fundy national park, which is stunningly beautiful and only a few hours away. There is also Parlee beach in Shediac - a lot of the touristy stuff might be closed but the water should be nice still!
Sorry, but Moncton is not in the least exciting! See if you can take a day trip to Fundy, as Lan suggested! :D At that time of year the leaves should be amazing, if nothing else!
Thirding the notion that there is little of excitement value in Moncton, and also the recommendation that if you have the chance, try to get out and see Fundy or some other part of the province - it's small, most things are only a couple hours' drive from one another ;)
