I think I want to make an exciting fish-based meal next week. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. It'll have to be Monday or Tuesday, 'cause I won't be home the other days of next week.
Fish, yes.
Suggestions? I know my flist is full of talented chefs. :)
I don't cook fish often and my recipie is definitely not something to wow the crowd, but it's serviceable.
I make a marinade of soy sauce with some sugar (brown if you have it, but white is fine) and a little bit of honey, to taste. Add a little dill, and some garlic (powdered or freshly chopped).
I let the piece of fish marinate covered in the fridge for maybe an hour, turning it a couple of times.
Then, put it in the oven at 350 for maybe 20 minutes or until it's cooked.
Accompany with a green salad and a little bit of mayonnaise.
Something sweet and salty that's not too much work. :)

Date: 2008-06-28 04:40 pm (UTC)Because I don't have one that has a cover.
But probably it would help keeping the flavor in.
Still works though.
