If there's one thing I really hate, it's being told, after asking why a certain procedure is in place, that "That's the way we've always done it."
Because, of course, if you've always done it that way, then it MUST make sense, right? Right?
Bah.
Also, I hate having people look at me as though I'm insignificant and/or incompetent just because I don't reach their levels of obsession about paperwork.
Photocopy every single damned waybill just because the company didn't send us the originals and we must absolutely have multiple copies for the files? Anal-retentive, stupid, pointless, and a waste of good trees.
Jesus, people. Have some perspective! Just because there *might* be a discrepancy of a few dollars on a bill, potentially.
