firewillow which was super super fun. She came to the apartment to meet the newest FFE, who fawned all over her with complete lack of dignity and self-respect, which was all good.
All three FFEs made total sluts of themselves, and we gorged on paté and baguette and salad and strawberries and carrots and tomatoes and tzatziki. 'Twas a very delicious lunch, if I do say so myself.
I drove her back to work and hied myself over to the hairdresser where I got a good deal of hair removed in preparation for summer. I'm not used to having so little hair, so I guess I'll have a bit of acclimatisation to do. The cats have not hissed or growled at me, and I got the Maternal Unit Seal of Approval, so I guess it's good.
Off to bed now, having ranted in the journal of one of my poor friends who probably really didn't need me throwing a minor tantrum in his comments section. Oh well, I hope he'll forgive me. :) Post just hit a nerve (dammit, where's the Novocaine when you need it?) and I just couldn't leave well enough alone, oh no. Not me. Nope. Gotta pick at that scar to make sure it never heals properly, that's the name of the game. :P
