Wednesday worries

I've stopped doing the Friday Five and the Monday Mission, I've noticed. Oh well. I may pick them up again later on.
There seems to be a momentary lull in the flood of calls that came in this morning *pauses a moment to spit on clients*, so I'm updating.
I'm wondering why I keep "forgetting" to send off my CV. It's that weird, half-voluntary procrastination thing I'm so good at. I don't like my current job, but I hate uncertainty even more. The prospect of leaving what is currently my bread-and-butter for a situation of which I know relatively little is not a comforting one.
Meh. I hate being wishy-washy.
I also hate the fact that I seem to have less and less time to devote to my online friends (not to mention most of my RL friends too). In a weird way, trying to have a more active social life outside my home seems to be marginalising me even more than before.
On the plus side, the SCA meeting yesterday rocked. I got to learn the very very very basic principles of thwacking people with a large sword, the basic principles of stabbing people with a slim sword, and I did an hour's worth of archery. T'was much fun. I'll be going back next Tuesday, I think.
joane, you left a bag o' stuff in my car, which I will bring next Tuesday unless you want to find time beforehand to get it back?
