The kitchen is tidy and semi-clean, everything that had to be thrown out (or almost everything) has been thrown out, and the cats have clean litter boxes.
I hate cleaning litter boxes more than anything else in the world, but luckily this new cat litter I got from the vet has made the process a little less painful. See, it's flushable, which means I don't have to lug a bunch of green garbage bags around, which is a pain. It's also made from recycled paper and is entirely biodegradable, so I'm not mangling the environment. All-around a good thing.
The only problem is that George is having issues with it. He'll pee in there, but seems to have a 50% chance of pooping outside the box, which is nasty. :P
Still, he's getting better about it, so I suspect it was a momentary fit of pique because I changed his routine again. He's actually yowling loudly right now, though I can't figure out why. Maybe there's a female in heat outside (he may have had his nuts cut off, but he still knows what a female in heat smells like).
I now have to tidy the living room/dining room area, and put away the non-perishable groceries that have been hanging around because I was too lazy to put them away before. *sigh*
I need to be less lazy. *lounges about*
One of the good things about living alone is that I can clean up my apartment wearing only my skivvies and no one cares. :D
