To all my friends, present and absent

I hope you are all having a very happy day. To those of you who are celebrating, I hope you have found affection and joy in the presence of your loved ones. For those of you who don't celebrate this day, I wish you all the happiness in the world. For those of you who can't celebrate for reasons outside of your control, I hope that all the abundance of love and joy and hope in the world spills over and fills all those empty corners and crevices in your lives and makes today that much better for you.
