Yurgh.

My shoulder is less happy than it was last night. It was very painful this morning, but that's to be expected since I didn't take any painkillers at all for over eight hours.

I am not as keen on the side-effects of the codeine and the anti-inflammatories. They were kind of present all day yesterday: I was drowsy, but mostly I felt vaguely nauseous and more annoyingly vaguely dizzy, and the same is true of today. Bleah. I can put up with a lot of things, but dizziness and nausea are not really among them: I am a total wuss in that respect.

On the plus side, they really do help the shoulder pain. So.

I am going to have a bit more food, in the hopes that it will help.

Okay, the codeine did NOT agree with me today. There was some unpleasantness today —I shall spare you the details— and as a result I am home early from work. I am now going to have a nap.

Blech.

I can't believe people become addicted to this. Who would want this?
