Easter Monday stuff
Mar. 28th, 2005 07:43 pmI shall have to go make dinner in a moment, as I have just discovered that I'm starving.
Interview went reasonably well this morning. I didn't have great vibes with the two interviewers, but that's not necessarily a good indication of whether or not I'd like the job. After all, I didn't like the Asshat Supervisor at Erb, either, but I loved the job.
Still, I rather hope the Bank hires me first. There's still another round of interviews to go after the end of this week, supposing they liked me enough to summon me back, so I'm not too worried. The Bank has thus far made encouraging noises about giving me a permanent post, but the wheels of the mechanism, they do turn slowly. So I have to give it a week or two, perhaps more, although I'm hoping less.
On the plus side, the litter boxes are clean... Strike that. They were clean until about thirty seconds ago. The floor is mopped, and apart from the toxic waste my cat just produced, the apartment is on its way to being clean.
I have some Bluebook stuff to write tonight, too.

What the hell are the cats doing in there? Building a pyramid?

Yes, Bluebook. I have some ideas, sadly none of them are for the current missions my characters are on. This is annoying, but not insurmountable. At least I actually feel like writing.
