I should update this thing...

I suppose it's significant in some way that I've updated my Perseity character's LJ six times in the last ten days and my own LJ, umm... *checks*... twice, and those weren't actually updates.

Oops.

It's not like I have nothing to talk about, either. Things have been happening. There was the lovely seder at joane's place last Tuesday, which I could have described, and Easter lunch with my family, the fact that my uncle needs brain surgery, Easter dinner with Prospero's Daughter, lux80 and our friend Linda, and all sorts of other, smaller events.

Well, last week I was depressed, so there was no posting. I don't have the energy or inclination to post when that happens.

Also, the paranoia tends to go to an all-time high during those periods, so I don't say what's on my mind anymore. It's like proofreading a paper, except the paper is still in your head and you never actually get it out in the open anymore for fear of getting a bad grade.

So that's partly why I haven't been updating.

*shrug*

I know you're not particularly interested in hearing this, but I suppose I want to write it down for myself as well.

I'll try to write more in the next few days, try to get back in the swing of things. Right now just this short post has been a big step, in terms of overcoming a mental block.
