Blast...

The scheduling department is offering the next three days off without pay here to anyone who wants them. I for one would be more than happy to take them up on one of those days.

The catch? They want people who work between 8:00am and 9pm. Guess what time I finish at? That's right: 9:15. So even though I've volunteered, I'm going to get an email saying "Sorry, you finish 15 minutes too late. You're not allowed to take the day off."

I am going to go drown my sorrows in a diet coke. I wish I could have a papaya bubble tea right now...

*goes off to mope in a corner*

Oh, and I just had a thirty-minute conversation with a psycho who wouldn't let me hang up! Kept going on about her heart condition and her backaches and her broken toe and how she was sequestered in France a few years ago for being a Jew.

Weird.

I *hate* the Bell Mobility recordings. I work here, I don't want to hear all the inane advertising we spew at our customers day in and day out. Not to mention that they only change the recording every few months.

*grr*

At least they got rid of the Christmas recording. God, but it was annoying!

I have spent a total of an hour and a half on the phone today with three clients. There are 47 clients waiting in the queue, and I am royally fed up. If I never ever see another phone or another call centre again, it'll be too soon, and I haven't heard from a single prospective employer.

I am royally pissed off, mostly at the "injustice" of it all. The money really isn't good enough to make this job worth it. They'd have to pay me about twice or probably three times as much for me even to consider it proper compensation for the stress levels.

On the plus side, by some miracle I got tomorrow off. Yay! Too bad I didn't know about it sooner, or I would have asked curtana to run Third Empire. Sadly, this is way too last minute even for gamers.

Twenty minutes until my next break, and two hours and five minutes before I go home. *sigh*

*runs in circles and flails*
