I had a cat with hyperthyroidism due to a mass on his thyroid. At the time, I worked at a vet's and we did surgery and that worked like a charm. But it was the beginning of the end for the poor critter; he also ended up having some sort of mass in his chest too. The end.
But on a more up note! Eyedrops work for me when fatigue and over-staring at a monitor make my emerald orbs burn and twitch. Worth giving it a try!
