I mean those things too! It's all definitely harder than sans child. How long have you been living with Bean? It's an adjustment process, one that may be made somewhat easier when one can ease into it by starting with an immobile infant and building up from there rather than starting at the 'running, screaming, jumping, demanding' phase. Bean will get older and you will get more accustomed to managing these things in conjunction with kid-wrangling, and things will get easier as time goes by. But in no way does it make you incompetent, or a horrible person, to find those things difficult or impossible right now.
