I haven't had a bath in forever. Years, actually. The only time I would be able to take one these days is when the family isn't home, and I have too much shit to do during those few hours. Showers are way more efficient.
As for the shower, it's not a question of whose business it is, as far as I'm concerned. Every moment I spend in there is time I could be helping with Bean, or doing dishes, or tidying, or something. My gf has to wrangle Bean all on her own when I'm away for work, so I figure it's not fair to her to have to do that when I'm physically present in the house. It's not like she can use the time I'm in there to check LJ or whatever, not when there's an energetic toddler running around.
