Just a wild-ass guess, but does this have anything to do with the fact that I was able to walk right up to the gigantic wall of flames at St-Hubert and Roy before I realized how dangerously close to the fire the crowd of onlookers was, and didn't pass police barricades being set up until I was retreating? (Hmm, to be more specific, could it have anything to do with the policeman I saw yelling at the driver of the garbage truck who was insisting that he didn't care about any police barricade, he still had trash to pick up?)
