Y'know, I think that I may have hit upon something while reading your comment.
I'm not visible. If I choose to out myself as gay, then so be it, but it's still my choice. People won't automatically come up to me and say: "Hey, could you explain Teh Gayz, please?" It's not like I have it tattoed on my forehead, or wear a convenient armband for identification.
I think that might well explain my perplexitude (I can invent words, yay!) re: the anger about having questions posed, especially if they're the same damned stupid questions over and over forever.
