Conservatives everywhere...

So the Conservatives are still in power at the federal level. The conservative-pretending-to-be-a-liberal just won a solid majority at the provincial level. Bob Rae has stepped down from the leadership race for the federal Liberals, leaving the conservative-pretenting-to-be-a-liberal Ignatieff to take the leadership.

My politics are definitely not conservative. While I am not thrilled with having a conservative government in power, I am willing to deal with it until the next election.

OTOH, it would be nice if we had an actual CHOICE come the next election. Is that too much to ask?

When it comes down to provincial politics here in Quebec, the choices are never that great. At least the Quebec Liberals/Conservatives want to work for making the best province with in Canada. They are also acting like statesmen. unlike the federal parties.

The PQ are trying to make a third world country, where there will be the upper ruling class (politicians & corps)/ the middle working class( The average french speaking Jacque) and the unmentionables ( the english that can't move out)

At least the pretending-to-liberal numbers came at the expense of the not-even-pretending party, not the actual-liberal party.

And hey, my riding elected QS! So that's something!
