Yep, that's the hill I'm talking about. I take it from St. Jacques up to Ste. Catherine, so not all the way up the hill (not all the way to Sherbrooke, in other words), but I do take it up the steep bit past Home Depot. I'm feeling quite good about that. I also made it halfway up Atwater from Sherbrooke today (went to visit my parents), which was pretty damned challenging.
Slowly but surely, right? I'm not too worried about the other cyclists. I'm not in this for the competition, after all. It's just a little frustrating to be wheezing my way up a hill only to be passed by four cyclists who look as though they could easily be enjoying a smoke at the same time. ;)
I'm having a blast with this. I'm so glad I decided to try biking to work.
