Okay, folks. I'm going to use my friends as an excuse to clean my apartment. Apparently only the threat of public humiliation will ever get me to clean up this place to my satisfaction. So. I'm going to host a very belated housewarming party for myself. Yay!

I know all of you are busy beavers, so I'm also going to take this opportunity to post a poll to figure out which date is best for this sort of thing. It's going to be in August, since July is booked solid for everyone I know, myself included. I want it to be in summer, though, because so many of you are allergic to cats that I think it's best if there's the possibility to retreat out of doors away from the cats and cat hair.

Seriously; I'm alarmingly open in August. I think I did it deliberately because there will be a trip to Ontario/Pennsylvania one of those weekends, but I still don't know which one. And on one Sunday there will be a trip out with another family, but again, no idea which Sunday that will be; it too is flexible.

Later August is better for me, because my term ends on August 11th, so I expect to be comatose for most of the weekend of the 12th. But none of the dates you've proposed clash horribly with other stuff, so whatever works for you is cool with me/us. We can provide sangria and a nice big barbecue.

Hurray! Thank you for both the barbecue and sangria, that would be awesome, as I don't really know how many people will fit in here comfortably. I really hope it doesn't rain. ^^;

Yay a party! The middle of August is pretty open. I expect to be camping on a secluded lake in the beginning of the month and in Vermont from the 25th, but otherwise it's all good.

My only caveats are that my birthday is on August 18th; it's possible that either that weekend or the next, we'll be heading up north to celebrate multiple birthdays. Plus, my friend Joey wants to do something special for her 40th, which is on the 24th, but I don't know what, or if it will be on the day or what.

In other words, plan whenever; I'll try my best to make it as the other possible plans are not solid yet.

As things currently stand, both Julia and I intend to be running our games on Sundays by the 6th of August. Also, we will be on vacation from the 20th to the 24th.
