I'm not hungover, so that's good

[livejournal.com profile] jteethy's birthday celebration was yesterday, and much fun was had. I had probably one drink too many for my own good (apparently three is my limit these days... *sigh*), and likely caused a fair bit of amusement for the people there.

I am not hungover this morning, which is good.

Instead of gardening this weekend, I shall be at work. *sigh* Luckily for me, [livejournal.com profile] moonandtree and his father might be coming by to do some work in the garden. So far everyone has worked in my garden except me. It's very frustrating.

On the plus side, the Overtime Fairy is going to help me pay for some of this furniture I bought last month. While I'm not in trouble specifically, things are a wee bit tight right now. I'm expecting an OT cheque next week, which is all to the good, and after that there ought to be even more. My supervisor has made noises about my working next weekend, too. I told him I would do it only if we were otherwise totally screwed.

In other news I am officially the n00b's new coach, as her coach is down for the count with labyrinthitis.

Okay, off to work.

I read "labyrinthitis" and wondered, "The noob's coach has an infected labyrinth?"

So I googled, and yes, it's an infected labyrinth. According to Wikipedia:

Labyrinthitis is a balance disorder. It is an inflammatory process affecting the labyrinths that house the vestibular system (which sense changes in head position) of the inner ear.
